Introduction

I am Melisse Aucoin. I was born in Paris, France into the Second Estate. Although I was forced to join the church at age 17 I stayed in the Second Estate. I am one of many of the women at this particular time who agree with Wollstonecraft. She is an Enlightenment thinker who believes in women's rights. You see, right now women aren't getting any say in what is going on with our government, laws,and ideas to make life easier to live. These restrictions on our rights are keeping us from being equal with the men I believe France needs to change it's ways. What France isn't getting is the fact that women have great ideas and could really help with making France a better place to live. Therefore I am all for women's rights.

Us women don't have the rights we deserve and it is unfair that we don't get to do half the things we are capable of.

I agree, women's rights are extremely important in this society.

I believe woman should have equal rights to us men!!!
