Tennis Court Oath

Me along with 577 third estate members were locked out of the meeting of the estates general on June 20 1789. In my opinion that was very rude. We decided to not let it bother us and decided to have our own meeting at a near by tennis court. We then declared ourselves the National Assembly and swore never to seperate until they had drafted a constitution for France. It felt good to finally have a say and coming up with one idea that we can soon dominate the first and second estates ideas.

I hate to break it to you, but you will not be "dominating" us any time soon. We will continue to turn your ideas down and stay strong. You can have your little insignificant assembly but consider yourself warned, you will be punished for your actions. Here me now believe me later.

Is the Third Estate just trying to cause problems?

This will not get anything accomplished. The Third Esate is just trying to cause problems within our government systems. I do however like the idea of coming together as an estate just not for this cause. God will hopefully shine some light upon you all.
