The King is dead

Before King Louis XIV became king everything was a mess. When he actually gained the throne it just kept getting worse and worse. I never liked him as a king. He didnt do much for us and was considered "dumb" by his wife, which says a lot. He always wished he could step down from the throne. In my opinion you do not want a king with that attitude. After trying to escape he was planned to be executed. It was the day of his execution and Louis in his carriage pulled up infront of mobs of people. He got out of the carriage and surprisingly he insisted to undress himself. He also declined when the guards tried to bind him. It was like Louis wanted to be executed. I think it was very brave of him to basically help put himself to death. They then cut off his head and hats were thrown in the air.

People celebrated his death and i made sure i was one of them to celebrate. You were right, after he gained power things just continued getting worse in france

He may not have been the best king but there is no need to celebrate a death, that is just sad and saying a lot about the Third Estate. You all couldn't have just let him go in peace could you?
